Jumuah Mubarak! 🎉 New features: Donation Box Photo, Visibility Indicator on Slides, Enrollment Cancellation Alert, Removing Old Fire TV App * From the edit donation box form on the admin dashboard, a link at the top to upload a photo is now available. This photo is shown on links and in the metadata when sharing the link on various platforms. * On the admin page to manage your slideshow, an indicator was added to help you identify where the slide is visible. When a slide is hidden on both TV and Website, it shows "This is hidden". When a slide is hidden just on the slideshow TV it says "Website Only". When the slide is hidden only on the website, it shows "TV Only". * When people enrolled into your events, cancel their enrollment, the emails listed under "Alert Emails" on your admin event dashboard, will be notified. * It's been 11 months since we released the new new Fire TV app called "TMA Screens". We had announced we would remove the old app, and that time has come. To avoid confusion where masjids accidentally install the old app called "The Masjid App Screens", this is now being removed. Please be sure you are updated to the latest and greatest. The instructions are in the "TV Displays" section on your admin dashboard. 🚨 Your communities data is being used Your communities data, such as traffic to your website, along with social media, Whatsapp, and donation platforms that sell data like Eventbrite, Donorbox, Zeffy is bought and used by companies like in screenshot below. These companies are taking this data to develop and test models and systems of destruction being tested in Falasteen. Data is even a simple visit. Due to tracking cookies, a simple visit to these websites gives a lot of data that can be sold and used. Please study the impact of your social media, you will notice, your community is marginally benefiting. While the cost to our Ummah is high. Masjids years ago never had social media and did fine. Today, we have trustworthy Ummah tech to replace those, let us know if you need help learning about Ummah friendly alternatives. Look to move your website off of web hosts charging a a little a month, because they are selling the traffic data to make up for giving you a cheap deal.
